Coming from one of the steepest and stoniest vineyard plots in Chablis, the Vau de Vey is a pure expression of the region. This wine is as intense as the work required to cultivate the plot. A singular expression of Chardonnay, the wine is sharp and direct, with a keen tension coming from the completely chalky soil. New stainless steel and 5-year-old French oak barrels add intensity and depth to the wine, balancing the bright and lively acidity for which Chablis is so well known.
