Description
From the village of Saint-Martin-Sous-Montaigu, a 1er cru oriented to the southeast, with good sunlight exposure and reddish-brown limestone sand, it is the emblematic work of the winery that best represents the terroir of southern Mercurey. The old vines, 40-70 years old, are grown organically. They only maintain half the number of buds to reduce the final yield, are 100% destemmed, and use 30% new oak barrels. Light and crunchy raspberries and red cherries, adorned with undulating aromas of roses; although it is also a 1er cru, it shows a completely different style from other wines of the same level in the winery.
