Description
This vineyard is located in the districts of Mercurrey and Fontaine, in the northern part of the Mercurey appellation, and has a southern orientation. Harvested relatively late in the season, the grapes were hand-selected in the vineyard and at the winery, destemmed, and then macerated for six days before fermentation began. Fermented for 20 to 25 days with daily pump-overs and pigeage. Aged for 18 months in French barrels, with 10% of new barrels.
