Description
This wine comes from a selection of low-yield old vines, as well as a blend of soils and altitudes. After selection, the impressive quality of the harvest allowed for a long maceration of 40 days, providing tannic complexity, depth, and texture. The wine has aged for 36 months in used barrels and oak barrels (one-third of them new), which has given it a sweet and polished touch to accompany the terroir-driven profile of this Sangiovese.
